While social giants Google and Facebook showed up, Twitter was nowhere to be seen. In an online report filed with Huffington Post mentions that according to the Daily Star, pornographers are taking to micro-blogging websites to target children, even though there are internet filters in place.British Labour Party politician Helen Goodman stated that online pornography is a grave issue, but Twitter doesn’t seem to take it seriously, while campaigners accused Twitter of being a coward and failing to act against the issue. Huffington Post also mentioned John Carr, of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety, stating that the social media network has a huge responsibility and it is failing to live up to it.
